In case you missed — it or would like to view the program again, here’s the link to the recording of the Pipeline Fighters Hub’s April 12 webinar, “Landowners United to Stop Pipelines”:
The program featured the launch of the “Landowners Rapid Response Guide & Videos” from the Property Rights and Pipeline Center, with comments from Rebekah Sale, Jill Averitt, Irene Leech and Joyce Burton.
Also, the Pipeline Safety Trust’s Bill Caram and attorney Paul Blackburn of Bold Alliance discussed the new report highlighting the safety risks of carbon pipelines. Finally, attorney Brian Jorde of Domina Law Group provided an overview of the landowners legal co-ops being formed by landowners in the states facing proposed carbon pipelines to fight eminent domain.
Our next Pipeline Fighters Hub webinar topic is “Counties and States Can Regulate Pipelines.” We’ll hear from elected officials who are taking on fossil fuel corporations and pipelines, by putting in common-sense regulations to protect property rights, water, and climate. Stay tuned for more details!
