The ACP: An Unpermitted Pipeline

Jul 1, 2020 | Regulatory Permit Process

Despite the ACP’s uncertain future, its developers – Dominion and Duke Energy – have seized private property through eminent domain, felled swaths of forest, and spent $3.6 billion dollars! on this unnecessary boondoggle. The project is missing eight essential permits, and should not receive permission to extend its certificate beyond October 13, 2020 deadline, allowing them to cut more trees, clear more land and install pipe in Virginia.

This flyer, created by Southern Environmental Law Center (SELC), summarizes the eight missing permits to understand this complicated, long and messy project.
