Virginia Solar’s principals have extensive track records of installing thousands of MWs of renewable energy capacity outside of Virginia. Virginia Solar’s first project, the 17 MWAC Scott-I project located in Powhatan County, Virginia, is projected to be installed in 2016. Dominion Virginia Power intends to purchase this project and has submitted it to the Virginia State Corporation Commission for approval.
