What is it?

Dominion Energy has proposed the construction of “Joshua Falls to Yeat,” a 115-mile 765,000-volt transmission Powerline that would cut through Central Virginia from Culpeper to Campbell County. Nine counties risk being affected if it is constructed. Dominion has targeted us because they believe rural counties like ours are vulnerable to land theft, data center expansion, and increased utility costs.

What’s at stake?

Property rights, environmental impacts, community character, health and safety, and financial burdens to local residents.

The governing bodies of Appomattox, Fluvanna, Louisa, Orange, Culpeper, and Goochland counties have passed resolutions opposing Valley Link. We hope Buckingham is next!

Here’s what you can do:

• Find out if your land is affected
• Send Dominion a No Trespass Notice.
• Contact your elected officials.
• Attend a public meeting
• Talk to others about their concerns,
• Put out a yard sign in opposition
