For your convenience, CCAN has developed a highly footnoted 2-page fact sheet showing the full and irrefutable power that Governor McAuliffe possesses to stop the Atlantic Coast and Mountain Valley Pipelines for fracked gas. Under the Clean Water Act alone, the Governor has the power to protect Virginia’s drinking water from the major threats posed by these pipelines. The Governor says he doesn’t have the any authority. It’s a “federal issue,” he says. This fact sheet explicitly shows he’s either misinformed or just plain misleading the public. Here’s the online link. Or see attached.

Legal is the only road to travel from now onward. My recommendation is that civil rights advocates sue in court Richmond, the Governor.

possibilities to explore…
1. Right to religious and moral expression > against values to have anything to do with convicted criminals of heinous Crimes Against Nature. although Corporations are only fined- the convictions are there. The entire Faith Community can enjoin in the law suit. He is the Governor of the COMMONWEALTH sworn in by the same values. This power of convictions is embraced by most ranks in politics and highly emotionally-charged.
2. for the African American Community at threat of destruction with the 68 acre Compressor and miles of pipeline in Buckingham could prominent Civil Rights advocates come here and sue VA. Governor for his genius “Game Changer”?
Landmark litigation is the strongest forum to inform everyone about the nefarious pending plan. Shout*out to the Congressional BLACK CAUCUS members who would protest VA Democrats signing-on to this one! Very powerful as VP soon to be Virginia’s Kaine, who is a darling of the Energy and Weapons Industry. Logical to think that the transitional team would like to keep things quiet…could notify Billionaires to put things on hold, avoiding a major blow-up.
3. Farmers Unite!!! it would be great for farmers throughout the ACP map to sue.
The brilliance is that as soon as the attorneys of record sue and hold an impressive Press Conference > here goes the momentum of the media Blitz.
and it dares the courts to dismiss the cases filed stating that they are not of merit >>> almost a joke about determining the merits of protecting against the DEATH OF COMMUNITY.
