Tracy Carver

A military veteran, community activist and native Virginian, Tracy believes in “treating all people with respect, regardless of creed, color, or political affiliation…” On the environment, he says “we must stop debating proven science and work together to solve all of the environmental hazards that we face. Man-made climate change is a danger that we must face together as neighbors, not as Democrats or Republicans.” For these reasons, he opposes the pipelines. Tom Perriello

Born and raised in Charlottesville, Tom began his career working on environmental issues, and later helped to create and lead faith-based organizations working to reduce poverty, advance racial reconciliation, and address climate change. He also served as 5th District Congressman.

Best known for his latest run in the recent gubernatorial June primaries, Tom opposes the pipelines and led the way in refusing financial support from Dominion Energy. He is now the CEO of WinVirginia, a PAC dedicated to electing Democrats to Virginia’s House of Delegates.  www.WinVirginia.Org
