Today, in Richmond, Virginia, the “Water is life. Protect it. Coalition” made history when together they surrounded the entire Capitol Grounds with over 600 citizens all crying out to protect Virginia’s water from the proposed Mountain Valley and Atlantic Coast Pipelines.

The Water is Life Rally & Concert was a collaboration of 38 environmental and arts organizations from across our region. One day. One voice. We rise.

Next stop: the final Virginia meeting on the permit that will, or won’t, allow these pipelines to begin construction and to begin the seizure of private land by eminent domain.
