There will be a Public Hearing with the Buckingham Planning Commission for a special use zoning permit for the proposed ACP compressor station on Monday September 26, at 7 pm in the Administration Building on Rt 60 in Buckingham Courthouse [the name of the town, not the building]. The next Public Hearing will be probably be with the Board of Supervisors on Monday October 10, 7 pm.
These public hearings will be a chance for you to voice your concerns about the compressor station. Its important that many people show up. Your presence alone is important, but please browse the information we have on this website for you to draw inspiration for talking points.
This just in: (9/19/2016) The sign up sheet for public comments will be available at 6:30 pm. Speakers will be in the order of sign up. We are allotted 3 minutes each individual person. Organizations are allotted 5 minutes per organization.
Please join the demonstration outside the hall! Wear your tshirts, bring your signs! Show up at 6 pm!
