People who wrote to the president about the ACP are simply having their letters forwarded to FERC
Write to the president and complain about the agency.
this is my letter

Since being notified that there was the possibility of a pipeline and compressor station going through my neighborhood, I have learned more than I ever wanted to know about the FERC.
after learning more about this agency, I AM apalled. This agency has clearly forgotten it’s job is to regulate energy companies and safeguard the environment and the citizens.
I have seen letters written to the White House about the Atlantic Coast Pipeline that were simply turned over to FERC, and your comment has been that you do not take a position on this.
But when an agency loses sight of it’s mission, choosing to protect big gas and oil, you do not have the luxury of taking no position.
To take no action is to allow the injustice and degradation of our environment to continue.
I had high hopes when I worked for you and voted for you, but now I see that you are impotent. or dishonest, or both.
As a private citizen about to have my rights to personal property violated I implore you to look into this.
Put FERC under the microscope and let them know that business as usual must give way to real energy planning and not just corporate profits. Methane infrastructure is not what we should be building anyway, If Dominion et al put half the energy into developing alternatives we would be well on our way to really clean, really cheap, really sustainable energy, but if you allow corporate profits to run this commission, we are all relegated to being second class citizens.
