Brian Carlton, the new editor at the Farmville Herald, has been doing great coverage of the gold mining issue in Buckingham. This past year the committee has been meeting monthly, taking input from impacted communities, and bringing in expert presenters to inform the committee and communities.
The committee is taking public comments until October 28. Your comments will inform their final report. A lot more of you have weighed in – thank you. Please continue to weigh in at the Virginia Regulatory Town Hall Public Comment Forum for Gold Mining Study. The next meeting information is here:
