It’s time to classify deadly prions as a select agent (again) and ban biosolids under the Bioterrorism Preparedness and Response Act of 2002, which supposedly protects our food and water supplies. Prions from people with prion disease (Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, CJD) are unstoppable. Sewage is infectious waste and toxic waste. It should be handled accordingly. The wastewater treatment process doesn’t stop prions or radionuclides. The EPA knows that, but it looks the other way on the risk assessments. Reckless, negligent or bioterrorism? http://crossbowcommunications.com/land-application-of-sewage-sludge-spreading-brain-disease/ Homeland defense begins at home.
