After the November 8 Public Hearing, Governor Northam fired two of the Air Board members, notably those who expressed doubt and concern about need and the Environmental Justice issue of the proposed compressor station site.
Without reinstatement of these members or an opportunity for the public to address the newly constituted board, no vote taken can be legitimate.

Air Pollution Control Board hearing on the draft air permit for the proposed Atlantic Coast Pipeline compressor station in Union Hill. At their November 9, 2018, meeting, the Board voted unanimously to postpone a vote on the permit until their next meeting on December 10, 2018.
In an unprecedented action less than one week later, on Thursday, Nov. 15, Governor Ralph Northam removed and replaced the two members of the Air Board most demanding of accurate information and environmental justice. Any action by a uninformed and late packed board whose members have not all heard public opinion on the ACP compressor station is not legitimate. Mark your calendars to attend the meeting and register your objections to the process.
